Weddings

As a university student, I earned my stripes as a DJ playing at some fun Aussie pubs, corporate events and birthday parties. From there I found my groove playing at weddings and trendy bars in Melbourne. In 2015, I took a chance and moved to Phuket, Thailand and quickly became popular as a destination wedding DJ as well as in top beach clubs & venues. A career highlight was being flown in to DJ a wedding season in the South of France on a talent visa. Now I am based in Bali focusing on delivering a kick ass wedding & event DJ service.

Weddings and Events are my true passion. Some DJs are really egotistical about the music they play and either don’t play what needs to be played or play it with a grumpy bum attitude. For me, whatever is getting the room moving is what I am playing, whether that's cheesy 90s, bollywood hits, Rnb or the coolest house tracks in town, I’m playing it with a smile and bringing the positive vibes.

I have been a destination wedding DJ for the majority of my career and done over 500 weddings so you can rest assured I am super versatile, accommodating and know what needs to be done in the planning and performance stages to ensure the wedding is amazing. What’s included:

Fully customized playlist with you & your crew’s favorite jams including any special moment songs such as your first dance.
DJ Controller & Laptop so I can take any on the night song requests.
Options to rent professional sound and/or lighting equipment (if required)

What is the benefit of me DJing these moments of your wedding?

Ceremony: You would hire me for this time, if you want this process to be seamless. The little details make a BIG difference when it comes to ceremonies. Setting the romantic tone as your guests arrive, knowing the correct volumes to play, when to fade in and fade out to emphasise the special moments of you walking in and the elation of being pronounced husband and wife are why people hire professionals.

Cocktail: Cocktails are a great time to unwind, watch the sunset and catch up with loved ones. Many couples like me to lay down the sunset, beachy vibes or just continue with the romantic theme from the ceremony. Having a DJ sets up the positive energy by ensuring there are great tunes being played so everyone can talk comfortably and enjoy while adding the flare to your cocktail hour.

Dinner: I see so many weddings where I arrive for the party only and the place just feels ‘dead’ because of a spotify playlist. Spotify playlists are great but they don’t have eyes. So the playlist may have been great for the first hour but is really missing the mark after that point. Additionally weddings often run late so it’s almost impossible to pre-plan the perfect playlist. As your wedding DJ I can see what’s going on and adjust accordingly. You can trust me to transition smoothly from a touching dinner into a wild dancefloor. In addition, you have me to play any special moment songs such as reception entrance, cake cutting, fireshow and games.

Party: Somewhat self-explanatory. Seamless mixes between your favorite tracks, reading the room so everyone is included. Epic parties, unforgettable nights. I’m sure the photographers will thank you for hiring a DJ during this time!
